For generations, enthusiastic hikers and nature lovers who also appreciate excellent food have come to our mountain inn in Fiè allo Sciliar, at the foot of the Dolomites. Because the way to a person's heart is through their stomach.

Holiday Makers in the Dolomites enjoy not only our cuisine but also the magic of our unique spot between the Alpe di Siusi holiday region and the Catinaccio panorama in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage in South Tyrol. Alpe di Siusi is the largest high alpine pasture in Europe. It lies in the middle of the spectacular mountain silhouette of the Dolomites, offering the perfect place for a romantic holiday.

Discovered in the early days of tourism, over a hundred years ago, it remains a dream destination for visitors from all over the world. The incredible view over the Brenta, Ortler and Texel group invites you to linger on our panoramic sun terrace at Gfell in Fiè allo Sciliar. You won't want to leave. With the addition of 17 new rooms and suites in the making, all with panoramic views and a natural feel-good atmosphere, we believe it's the perfect getaway for your holiday in the mountains. The warm tones and elegant furnishings of the rooms and suites exude a harmony of tradition and modernity. The inn is nestled gently into the mountain landscape of the most extensive high alpine pasture in Europe. Traditionally and comfortably furnished, the historic barn becomes the base for hikes or mountain bike tours. There are no limits to the possibilities of action-adventure: 360 ° hiking options along with insider tips and hiking suggestions, rent one of our mountain bikes or opt for an e-bike. The skiing area Carezza or the Alpe di Siusi circuit invite you to go skiing (approx. 25 minutes by car). Snowshoeing and winter walks entice you into untouched snowy landscapes. Shopping is in the region's capital, Bolzano, less than 20 minutes away.

Seiser Alm Balance

When the days get longer in spring and nature awakens, the desire for outdoor exercise increases. With special "Balance" experiences you can recharge your batteries in and with nature.

9 May – 1 July 2023

The events will be held every week in the villages of Dolomites region Seiser Alm, and are suitable for both adults and teenagers.

If you book a stay in our accommodation, you can participate in the following Balance experiences free of charge.

Cancellation policy:

  • If you cancel 3 months before arrival, you can cancel your booking free of charge.
  • If you cancel less than 3 months before arrival, we keep the deposit.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before arrival, we charge 70% of the booked stay as a
  • cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel within a week of arrival, 100% of the booked stay will be charged.
  • When booking, a deposit of 30% must be paid by credit card. Which in the event of cancellation remains entirely with the accommodation company.
