Winegrowing to South Tyrol like water to life. It may be one of the smallest wine-growing regions in Italy, but thanks to its geographical location, it is also one of the most multifaceted. It is therefore not surprising that authentic full-bodied wines also thrive on the edge of the Dolomites, at the foot of the Schlern/Sciliar. The partly steep slopes in and around Völs/Fiè is the ideal location for cultivating good vines.

Our region produces many varieties of wine including whites such as Sauvignon, Weißburger, Müller-Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Silvaner and reds such as Blauburgunder or Vernatsch.
